Ernst & Young tells President it will boost its presence in Cyprus

Cyprus President, Nikos Christodoulides, discussed on Thursday in New York, issues related to investments and the economy with the leadership of the Ernst and Young company, led by Julie Linn Teigland, Area Managing Partner of Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA). She was accompanied by other high-ranking officers, including the leadership of the company in Cyprus. The company announced that it will boost its presence to Cyprus, using it as a hub for providing services in the broader region. 

According to a Presidency press release, during the meeting the two sides discussed issues related to economy, the attraction of foreign investments and Cyprus' regional strategic role in the broader area, in relation to initiatives which the government undertakes in the region.

Ernst and Young reiterated its trust in Cyprus and announced to the President that it will redouble its investments in human resources in the fields of technology and consultancy services on strategic areas in the country, using Cyprus as a hub for providing services in the broader region. 

President Christodoulides underlined during the meeting that the attraction of quality investments in fields where Cyprus can become a regional hub constitutes one of the basic priorities of the government and that the policies which are being promoted focus towards this direction.
