The 26th plenary of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP) that took place recently in Vienna confirmed that Petros Galides, Cypriot Deputy Commissioner of Electronic Communications and Postal Regulation and ERGP Vice Chair, will remain as the Organisation's Vice President for 2025.
According to a press release, the Plenary confirmed Dan Sjöblom, Director General of the Swedish Post and Telecommunications Authority (PTS), as ERGP President for 2025 as well and Cypriot Petros Galides as ERGP Vice President for 2025.
In addition, the Plenary debated and approved the draft ERGP Work Program for 2025 that will be presented for Public Consultation and approved a document on the Access to Parcel Delivery Infrastructure which will be published on the ERGP website https://ec.europa.eu/ergp .
The ERGP (European Regulators Group for Postal Services) is composed of the 27 national regulatory authorities (NRAs) for postal services of the EU, as well as national regulatory authorities from countries of the European Economic Area and countries with candidate status to join the EU.
The ERGP advises and assists the Commission on the development of the internal market for postal services and on the consistent application in all Member States of the regulatory framework for postal services.
