Bilateral relations between Cyprus and Israel within the realm of energy cooperation where the focus of discussions between Cypriot Ambassador to Israel, Kornelios Korneliou and Israeli President Isaac Herzog.
Korneliou formally presented his diplomatic credentials to the President of Israel during an official ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Jerusalem on Tuesday.
According to an official statement from the Israeli Presidency, Herzog spoke with the Cypriot Ambassador about the ongoing efforts to expand cooperation, especially in the field of energy, and sent his warm greetings to the President of Cyprus. He also noted that the strategic relations between Israel and Cyprus were an example for the region.
During the same ceremony, newly appointed ambassadors from the United Kingdom, France, Ireland, Brazil, Peru, and Ivory Coast also presented their credentials to the Israeli President.
