The Ecologists expressed their strong disagreement to the possible opening of a road in the forest of Athalassa to deal with the traffic congestion in the road of the new Nicosia General Hospital. In his statements, Ecologists’ General Secretary, Giorgos Perdikis said that Mr. Nicos Shacolas, owner of The Mall of Cyprus, is responsible for the traffic jam and stressed that he will not allow the opening of the new road.
