The operating companies of the Marinas of Ayia Napa in Cyprus and Rhodes, Symi and Kos in Greece mutually agreed on the foundation of the Eastern Mediterranean Marinas Network.
According to a press release, the main goal of the Network is to upgrade the marinas’ services to boaters and yacht owners as well as the further development of nautical tourism in the wider area of Eastern Mediterranean.
The Memorandum of Understanding between the four parties was signed on Monday by respective representatives of the Marinas’ managing companies.
The signing took place at the Event Center of Ayia Napa Marina and was attended by competent authority representatives and officials from the ministries of the Republic of Cyprus. Ayia Napa Marina was represented by Costas Fitiris, Chief Marina Officer.
