The first phase of the negotiations for the selection of the Strategic Coordinator for the Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal was completed successfully.
“The first phase of the direct negotiations with the candidates was held in London from June 21 to July 2, 2010”, the announcement said.
“The negotiations were completed successfully since all candidates confirmed their will and commitment to cooperate with EAC for the joint development, construction and operation of the Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal in Vassiliko”, it added.
The first phase focused on the legal documents that will govern the introduction and the operation of the joint venture, while the second round of negotiations for issues concerning the planning, the budget, the financing, the manning and the contracts will take place on July 12, 2010 in London.
EAC is expected to complete successfully the second round of negotiations too, in order to choose a strategic partner before the August summer holidays.
Head of EAC negotiation team is the Production Executive Manager, Antonis Patsalis.
