About Dr. Lucy Gill-Simmen

Dr. Lucy Gill-Simmen serves as Vice-Dean for Education and Student Experience and is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the School of Business and Management, Royal Holloway, University of London. With extensive experience in business and management education, she is dedicated to creating inclusive educational experiences. She holds an MBA and a Ph.D. in Marketing from Imperial College Business School in London and focuses on developing students' skills, implementing inclusive assessment practices, and promoting values-based pedagogy. The event will be introduced by the Rector of the Cyprus University of Technology, Professor Panagiotis Zaphiris.

Dr. Gill-Simmen has published her research in academic journals, as well as through Harvard Business School Publishing, and has contributed articles to The Conversation and Times Higher Education. She has been awarded several teaching awards at Royal Holloway for her work in inclusive education design, and in 2022, she received the Global Women in Marketing Award. Through her leadership role with the Academy of Marketing, she actively contributes to shaping the future of marketing education.
