Cyprus Flight Pass, country categorization and most protocols end on 18 April

As of Monday, 18 April, Cyprus abolishes the Cyprus Flight Pass for entry into the country as well as the categorisation of countries according to their epidemiological status and most protocols.

In a press release on Thursday, the Deputy Ministry of Tourism notes that an updated protocol has been uploaded on the ministry’s website https://www.visitcyprus.com/news/774-covid19-travel-protocol.

The Ministry thanked loyal visitors “for turning Cyprus into one of the most popular European holiday destinations for 2021.”

It also expressed satisfaction that travelling to Cyprus can now take place without restrictions and says “we look forward to welcoming you to wonderful Cyprus once again.”

According to the announcement, as of April 18, 2022, countries will no longer be categorized according to their epidemiological status.

Also passengers entering Cyprus will no longer be obliged to complete the Cyprus Flight Pass and obtain approval for entry.
