The Cyprus Tourism Organization prepared an action plan against the crisis in the banking sector.
The plan will be submitted to its Board of Directors on September 30 and will be presented to Commerce Minister at a later stage.
According to a CTO announcement, this was decided during a meeting held on Wednesday after the deterioration of the financial conditions worldwide, the increase in oil prices, the economic collapse of the international tourist organizations and the airlines, as well as the inevitable impacts on the tourist industry.
The action plan is also prepared for the possible problems that might emerge in the winter tourism program, which was discussed within the framework of the monthly meeting between the CTO and PASYXE, STEK and ACTA.
