The CSE in agreement with the SEC requested on Wednesday additional information on the possible acquisition of software of Global Consolidator by Logicom. According to sources, the CSE rejected Logicom’s request for the suspension of trading of its titles and requested additional clarifications. If the two companies proceed with the deal, GLC will lose part of its main activities. Authorities are, therefore, highly concerned about whether the Company should join the special trading category.

Analysts anticipate that the agreement will have benefits. “The acquisition of GLC’s software will create a new ‘customers’ list’ to LOG”, they told StockWatch. More than that, Logicom will be able to promote its new products to certain customers and increase its revenues. According to its 2003 accounts, GLC had revenues of £2.7 million from the IT system. Analysts anticipate that LOG will have net profits of £1.4 million in 2004 and £1.9 million in 2005.
