-New three- year low for CPB-HB-BOCw


The CSE general index inched up 0,06% to 80.5 points today, mostly influenced by banks, which attracted a considerable investors interest (45% of the total volume). On the contrary, FTSE20 slipped 0.5% to 304.9 points.

BOC – being the most marketable share of the day (19.1%) – did not crush down this time and remained unchanged to CYP 1.09. On the other hand, the Popular Bank, the Hellenic Bank and the Bank of Cyprus warrants experienced losses of 1%, 1.5% and 3.6% respectively. Specifically, CPB concentrated 10.4% of the volume that totaled CYP 314 thousand today, closing at CYP 1.01, while HB with 9.7% of the total volume fell to 67 cents. Similarly, BOCw with 5.9% marketability fell to 13.5 cents . All three titles hit a new three-year low.

Aristo Development, Era Split Income, Hadjiioannou Farm and Telia Aqua had a considerable turnover today reaching 5.2%, 5.2%, 4.3% and 3.2% respectively. ARD slid 2.9% to 30 cents, ESI remained unchanged to 14.5 cents, FRH surged 1% to 9.7 cents and, TLA jumped 5.3% to 20 cents. Finally, Marketrends Financial (1.9% of the turnover) suffered a decline of 7.7% closing at 3.6 cents.

Overall, 35 securities went up, 36 fell and 16 remained unchanged.
