At its first meeting under its new composition, the Commission for the Protection of Competition decided on Friday to cancel the previous decisions and to re-examine the cases that are currently before it.
The meeting was attended by the lawyers Doros Lykourgos and Agni Efstathiou – Nikoletopoulou, who have been appointed by the Council of Ministers as new members, replacing Mr. Costis Efstathiou and Leontios Pericleous, whose terms of office was terminated by a Supreme Court decision on December 4, 2007.
According to the announcement, on the basis of the Supreme Court decision to terminate the terms of office of the two members and the Attorney General’s decision, the CPC cancelled the previous decisions and decided to re-examine the cases.
