Congratulatory messages for President-elect Νikos Christodoulides continue to pour in, following his victory in Sunday's elections.
According to his office, messages via twitter were received by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Estonia's President Alar Karis, Lithuania's President Gitanas Nausėda, Austria's chancellor Karl Nehammer, Latvia's President Egils Levits, Slovenia's President Nataša Pirc Musar and Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni.
Moreover Christodoulides received messages by Estonia's Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, Montenegro's President Milo Đukanović, Armenia's President Vahagn Khachaturyan and the country's premier Nikol Vovayi Pashinyan, Moldova's President Maia Sandu, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vučić and UK's Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs James Cleverly.
The newly elected President also received phone calls and messages of congratulations by Malta's Premier Robert Abela, FMs of Jordan and India Ayman Safadi and Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, respectively, as well as Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem.
