A total three hundred and eighty eight claims of €5.2 million were submitted to the insurance companies, members of the Insurance Association of Cyprus, affected by the explosion at the Naval Base in Mari.
According to the announcement, of those claims, 56 have to do with car damages and are of €128.5 thousand, 308 concern damages on properties of €2.6 million and 24 concern the life sector and are of €2.5 million.
The sums do not include the claims that have to do with the destruction of the EAC power station. The estimates by experts have not been finalized yet and, as already announced, they are preliminarily calculated at €850 million.
