CIPA proposes 11 projects to Qatar

The list of CIPA submitted to the Qatari investment authority for evaluation includes golf courts, luxury hotels and commercial developments of more than €4 billion. The list includes 11 big projects, one of which concerns the state Energy Centre in Vasiliko and the others are private projects.

The projects also include developments of Shacolas, Leptos, Aristodemou and Caramondani.

Cyprus Limni Reports & Golfcourses tops the CIPA list. It is situated in Polis Chrysohous, Paphos and includes a 5-star hotel and spa, two golf courts, a House Program of 800-1000 units, restaurants, bars and other facilities.

CIPA also proposed to Qatar an investment in Fortune Health Resort in Limassol. The project includes a 6-star hotel, spa and gym, Medical Care Center, Natural Medicine and Restoration Centre, a Property Development Village and biological food. Its cost is expected to reach €600 million.

The third in the list is Kykkos project in the heart of Nicosia and includes a 7-star hotel with conference centre, a business centre, Parks and Gardens for family activities, flats, houses, a culture centre, a museum and an amphitheatre. Its cost is estimated at €1.5 billion - €2 billion.

CIPA’s list includes many projects of Leptos Group.

Leptos – Neapolis is the first small Ecocity in the Mediterannean and it is in Paphos. It has a private university with 3000 students, a medical care centre specialized in hospitals, and oncology centre, spa and Restoration Centre. At the same time, it has a commercial and business park, an R&D centre and a 5-star business hotel.

Also, Leptos – Del Mare is in the heart of Limassol and includes 4500 sq. meters of commercial development and 14 thousand sq. meters of lifestyle housing development. It includes tennis, gym and pool. Its cost is estimated at €100 million.

Finally, Leptos – Marina Residences is situated in Limassol and includes high buildings, a private house club with swimming pool, a business centre, offices and flats of total cost of €110 million.

CIPA’s proposals include the Limassol Landmark Luxury Residential, which is a development of 233 luxury houses with spa services, gym, reception and business centre. It is a 30-storey tower that includes a commercial square with 14 coffee and restaurant units. Its cost is estimated at €760 million.

The only development in free Famagusta recommended to Qatar is the Macronisos Marina Ayia Napa. It is situated in Ayia Napa and includes house developments with 53 villas, 222 flats and 20 towhouses with hotel-type services. It also includes a shopping mall, a restaurant and club, 2 tennis courts, a golf court, a playground, 2 swimming pools and a capacity of 600 vessels. Its cost stands at €190 million.

One more project in Paphos is Santa Barbara. It includes a 5-star resort and condo hotels, a medical and restoration centre, an Education and Leisure Centre and a multi-theme park. Its gross value stands at €377 million.

Finally, CIPA’s list includes Venus Rock in Paphos, with a 5-star hotel (Nikki Beach), the Nikki Beach Club and Niki Beach Villas with 3000 private houses and flats.
