President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides departs for Moldavia to take part in the Second European Political Community Summit to be held on 1 June 2023 at Chisinau.
According to a press release from the Presidency, Christodoulides will take part in a round table discussion on energy and interconnections in Europe, with leaders from Belgium, Norway, Bulgaria, Malta, Ireland, Italy, Slovenia, Azerbaijan, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina and EU institution representatives.
The EPC Summit will focus on three main topics: joint efforts for peace and security; energy resilience and climate action; and interconnections in Europe for a better connected and more stable continent.
President Christodoulides will also hold bilateral meetings and will attend a working lunch where the conclusions of the round table discussions will be presented.
