The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has named Angeliki Kalligiannaki as its new Head of Greece, effective September 1st. She succeeds Andreea Moraru, who was recently appointed as the Bank’s Regional Director for Poland and the Baltic States.
Kalligiannaki, a Greek national, has been with the EBRD since 2013, taking on various roles in Risk Management, Treasury, and at the Bank’s Warsaw office before moving to Athens in 2016. In her current position as Associate Director, Senior Banker, within the Manufacturing and Services team, she has played a significant role in driving the Bank’s efforts to support Greece’s economic recovery, including through the implementation of the Greek Recovery and Resilience Facility Co-Financing Framework.
