Cyprus has made a rapid progress towards the Renewable Sources of Energy, AKEL spokesman, Stavros Evagorou stated today. This is reflected in the development budget and the state budget 2010, where many licenses will be granted for the installation of photovoltaic and other forms of RSE.
According to the CNA, on the question about the decision of the newly-elected Greek Prime Minister, Giorgos Papandreou, to change the limos with hybrid cars, Mr. Evagorou said that this is a positive decision that sends messages in relation to fuel consumption.
“However, a country is judged by issues that have to do with the adoption of the RSE”, he concluded.
