The House of Representatives approved unanimously on Thursday the complementary budget of the Cyprus Tourism Organization. The House approved the payment of £3.37 million for the coverage of the advertising and promotion expenses and the payment of the Value Added Tax (VAT).
According to figures, the CTO will be burdened the sum of £2.34 million for 2005 and for the VAT on the advertisements and the promotion of Cyprus.
A further promotion of CTO’s campaign abroad will require the additional £1 million and other small sums that will be granted for the operating needs of the CTO offices in Salonica and Vienna.
