ACTE, the Association of Cyprus Tourist Enterprises has called on its members to make use of various schemes announced by the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry.
ACTE participated in an information day held by the Ministry on various programs that were announced in the past and have to do with the promotion of energy efficiency investments by small and medium size enterprises and the scheme for their digital upgrade.
The event was addressed by Energy Minister Natasa Pilides and according to a statement by ACTE, issued Monday, she said that the Ministry encourages the digital transition of the SMEs and their energy efficiency supporting them through the various plans announced.
She said that these grants are an incentive to the SMEs and can be used for new technologies, digital upgrading, green transition and circular economy.
The Business Energy Upgrade Plan the government has announced, the statement says, has a budget of €40 million and is now open while the Business Digital Upgrade Plan, of €10 million will be announced in the upcoming days.
