A successful conference: “Cyprus in International Business Planning” sponsored by Marfin Laiki Bank

Fiducenter (Cyprus) Ltd conducted a high level conference which has held at Ajax Hotel, in Limassol on 9 -10 February.
Through the conference, the organisers achieved to inform thoroughly foreign professionals and entrepreneurs about all aspects of the International Business sector in Cyprus, presented by experts on each field, either coming from the private or the public sector.
Titled “Cyprus in International Business Planning”, the seminar examined all the existing background with regard to Cyprus in the field of International Business, starting from a general overview and subsequently the specific aspects of the economy, legal, tax, banking, shipping, investment and wealth management, human capital and real estate. Some attractive vehicles were also looked into, useful for a whole spectrum of the purposes and objectives for using Cyprus as a vehicle that could afford significant benefits.
Among the issues that attracted the interest of the participants, were the stability of the Cyprus banking system, the various measures Cyprus has taken to cope with the world economic crisis, as well as how high net worth individuals could best manage their wealth.
The whole event was enhanced by some social happenings which helped render the whole stay of the participants even more interesting and gave them also a feel of the history of Cyprus and its social life.
