A Global-Local Seminar by CIIM addresses Current Problems in Cyprus and Beyond

The Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM) organizes the first Open Seminar on "GloCal Vision: Positive Solutions for Current Problems in Cyprus” on Friday, March 8th, 18.30-20.30, CIIM Limassol (above Starbucks next to the Municipal Gardens) and invites anyone interested in innovative solutions for Current Problems in Cyprus to attend.
The GloCal Vision is an initiative which aims at presenting Positive Solutions to overcome Global and Local problems. In addition to Cyprus, this initiative is being launched simultaneously in different countries, such as Austria, France, Germany and Portugal.
In this open-seminar positive solutions for current problems in Cyprus will be proposed and discussed by the audience. These problems include issues such as Human Rights, Unemployment, Recycling and Parking/Driving.
On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, the first topic to be addressed will be women’s right, supported by a GloCal video, made by CIIM students.
Selected Positive Solutions discussed during the seminar, will later be posted at www.glocalvision.org
This innovative seminar is led by, Dr. Luis Filipe Lages, Associate Professor of Marketing, Innovation and International Business, Nova School of Business and Economics, at the University of Lisbon in Portugal and Visiting Professor of Marketing at the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM).
The event is free and open to the public.
