The 6th annual FBME Bank 10-km race ‘’run with us for our children will take place on Saturday, November 16th in Athalassa National Park in Nicosia (park entrance is 200 m from the round-about of the Nicosia General Hospital). The event, which is an excellent opportunity for recreational sport in the beautiful natural surroundings of the park is organised by Dro.Me.A. Besides encouraging participation at sports events that improve our health and thus our quality of life, this event has also a charity aspect as it aims at collecting money towards FBME Bank’s efforts for the construction of a children’s neurological wing at the Makarios Hospital in Nicosia.

For runners of all levels there will be a 10-km race and a 4-km health run (both for those aged 16 and above) as well a children’s 800 m for ages 13-15 years old. In addition to the running events, participants will have the opportunity to take part in other activities such as having their photo taken with an original Harley Davidson motorbike, face painting and participation in zumba and yoga sessions.

The registrations for the running events will begin at 7:30am until 9:30am. At 10.00am the running events will start with a participation fee of 5 Euros. The children’s 800-m run is free of charge. You may pre-register for the 10-km race online at: www.dromearacing.com
