Cyprus’ economy recorded a strong performance in the third quarter of 2024, with GDP growth reaching 3.9% in real terms compared to the same period in 2023, according to data released on Thursday by the Cyprus Statistical Service.
After seasonal and working-day adjustments, the growth rate is estimated at 3.8%.
In comparison to the previous quarter, the GDP grew by 1.0%, marking the strongest quarterly gain of 2024.
This growth is largely attributed to robust activity across several sectors, including Hotels and Restaurants, Wholesale and Retail Trade, Information and Communication Technologies and construction.
