Foreign Ministry issues travel instructions based on epidemiological risk

Cyprus’ Foreign Ministry announced on Friday that it has issued travel instructions to Cypriot citizens who are already or intend to travel abroad.

The first travel instruction concerns countries classified in Categories A and B, based on the epidemiological risk assessment carried out by the Epidemiological Surveillance and Infection Control Unit on 10/6/2020, and the second all other countries.

 It is noted that the data will be continuously evaluated and travel instructions will be updated as deemed appropriate. All travel instructions are posted on the Foreign Ministry`s website.

Category A, which concerns low risk countries includes, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland.
 
Category B concerns countries with increased risk compared to category A and includes Israel, Poland and Romania.
