The European Central Bank has approved the appointment of Petros Christodoulou as Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank Public Company Limited.
According to a press release, further to the announcement of Hellenic Bank Public Company Limited (the “Bank”) dated 28th June 2023 regarding the decisions of the 49th Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders of the Bank, the Bank announces that the European Central Bank has approved the appointment of Petros Christodoulou as Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank and, therefore, Christodoulou has been appointed with effect from today, 8th January 2024.
Hence, the appointment of Christos Themistocleous as an Acting Chairman has ceased to be in effect.
The Board of Directors has expressed its sincere thanks to Christos Themistocleous for serving as Acting Chairman for the period from 28th June 2023 to 7th January 2024. Themistocleous remains Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank.
