A decrease of 3.2% was recorded in the turnover value index of wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles during the fourth quarter of last year.
In addition, for the period January-December 2020, the Index recorded a decrease of 8.3% compared to the corresponding period of 2019.
According to the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus, the Turnover Value Index of Wholesale and Retail Trade and Repair of Motor Vehicles during the fourth quarter of 2020, recorded a decrease of 3.2% to 126.2 units (base 2015=100), compared to 130.4 units during the corresponding quarter of 2019.
The latest figures, also published on Monday by the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus, show that the Turnover Value Index of Wholesale Trade except of Motor Vehicles during the fourth quarter of 2020, recorded a decrease of 8.3% to 111.6 units (base 2015=100), compared to 120,6 units during the corresponding quarter of 2019.
For the period January-December 2020, the Index recorded a decrease of 7.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2019.
