During their meeting with the Chairman of Cyprus Ports’ Authority, Chrisis Prentzas, the trader unions of the Authority decided to lift the measures of abstention from overtime employment.
According to an announcement signed by Mr. Prentzas and trade union representatives (to become effective on January 12, 2008), the decision was taken to “show a good will in view of the Finance Ministry’s decision to cover all issues included in the union contract draft until this date”.
“The Board of Directors and the trade unions support the union contract 2004 – 2006, as this has been signed”, the announcement concluded.
