BOCY changes its organizational structure

Bank of Cyprus announced today the changes in the organizational structure of the Group’s Executive Management following the appointment of Mr. Charilaos Stavrakis as Minister of Finance of the Republic of Cyprus.

The announcement is as follows:

Group Executive Management:

Andreas Eliades, Group Chief Executive Officer

Yiannis Kypri, Group Chief General Manager

Group General Managers:

• Antonis Jacouris, Group General Manager International Business and Operations. He is responsible for the supervision of the Group’s operations in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Australia, Romania, Russia, Ukraine and the supervision of Group IT, the Group Organization & Methods and the Group Human Resources Divisions.

• Vasos Shiarly, Group General Manager Domestic Banking
He is responsible for the development of the Bank’s operations in Cyprus and the supervision of the subsidiary companies Eurolife and General Insurance of Cyprus.

• Christis Hadjimitsis, Group General Manager Finance and Strategy
He is responsible for the financial management and strategy of the Group as well as for the Mergers and Acquisitions Division.

• Nicolas Karydas, Group General Manager Risk Management
He is responsible for the management of the risks that the Group is exposed to and the supervision of the Group’s Compliance Unit.

Mr Yiannis Siradakis, General Manager of Bank of Cyprus Greece, and the Communications and Press Departments report to the Group Chief Executive Officer.

Group Treasury & Private Banking, Group Investment Banking and Asset Management as well as the Investor Relations and the Shares and Bonds Divisions report to the Group Chief General Manager.
