Turnover value in services increased in the second quarter of 2023, compared to the corresponding quarter of 2022, as all sectors of economic activity in services strengthened, with the largest annual increase presented in accommodation and food service activities, with 19.4%.
According to data published by the Statistical Service on Thursday, the Turnover Value Index during the second quarter of 2023 recorded increases in the sectors of accommodation and food service activities (19.4%), administrative and support service activities (12.9%), information and communication (11.1%) and professional, scientific and technical activities (2%) compared to the corresponding quarter of 2022.
Moreover, during the period January-June 2023, increases relative to the corresponding period of 2022 were observed in the indices of accommodation and food service activities (23.5%), administrative and support service activities (15.2%), information and communication (6.2%) and professional, scientific and technical activities (5.8%).
