In 2023, 18% of Cypriot enterprises experienced a cyberattack, 58% of enterprises use artificial intelligence tools including ChatGPT while 92% of enterprises plan to invest in digital transformation within the next year.
These are, among others, the findings of the results of the Cyprus IT Enterprises Association (CITEA) Survey and the CITEA Index for 2024, which were presented at an event on Monday.
According to a press release issued by CITEA, important findings regarding the perceptions, the challenges and the forecasts of the Cypriot enterprises in the field of digital transformation were presented during the event.
In relation to investments in digital transformation, 92% of enterprises intend to invest in digital transformation within the next year. In relation to challenges, 78% of enterprises noted that enhancing of their staff's digital skills was their greatest challenge.
As regards the customer experience, 80% of enterprises consider a user-friendly interface as a critical factor in their digital customer experience.
In relation to cyber security, 18% of enterprises have experienced a cyber attack in the past year, while 82% of businesses see cyber security as a key factor for digital transformation.
Finally, in regards to Artificial Intelligence (AI), 58% of Enterprises use AI tools including ChatGPT and have task automation and data analytics as top priorities.
