The Board of Directors of Hermes Airports Ltd wishes to announce that Mr. Bob Manning, Chief Executive Officer of the Company is no longer in the service of the Company, with effect from 14 February, 2008. The Board of Directors wishes Mr. Manning every success in his future professional endeavours.
The Board of Directors has proceeded with the appointment of Mr. Alfred Van der Meer to the post of Chief Executive Officer of Hermes Airports Ltd with effect 1 March, 2008.
Mr. Van der Meer is of Dutch origin and has many years experience in high level management positions in companies which operate large airports including Amsterdam International Airport. In the last five years Mr. Van der Meer was the Chief Executive Officer of ‘Eleftherios Venizelos’ Airport in Athens.
Mr. Van der Meer is 59 years of age, he has a post-graduate degree in Civil Engineering and he speaks Dutch, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German and has an understanding of French and Greek. He is married and has two sons.
The Board of Directors welcomes Mr. Van der Meer to Cyprus and wishes him every success in his new duties.
