The Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC), Constantinos Herodotou, is to hold during the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), this week in Morocco, bilateral talks with officials from the IMF and other international financial organisations, on domestic and international developments, the CBC said in an announcement.
According to the announcement, Herodotou is attending the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, which are held this week in the city of Marrakesh.
The 2023 Meetings focus on the measures which need to be adopted to end poverty on a livable planet, the intertwined global challenges, the solutions for the developing countries, as well as how to boost jobs, digital infrastructure and climate action, it said.
During the Meetings, the Governor will hold bilateral talks with officials from the IMF and other international financial organisations, on domestic and international developments, the CBC adds.
