Giorgos Constantinou

Mr. Constantinou graduated from the PanCyprian Economic Lyceum of Nicosia in 1970. From 1972 until 1979, he worked at the Information Technology department of Popular Bank. Following, he transferred at the private sector, originally at the development of information systems and later on he took the Management of the Sales department. In 1987, he accepted the proposition by DIGITAL and he took charge of the promotion and backup of its products in Cyprus, an action that signalled the foundation of G.C.C (Computers). He was appointed General Manager of the company and he remained at that position until the summer of 1994, when on the decision of the mother company, the daughter company ceased its operation in Cyprus. The result of this was the reactivation of G.C.C (Computers), which took fully over the activities of Digital Equipment Cyprus Limited.
