Piraeus Bank acquired on Wednesday 744 thousand Bank of Cyprus’ shares, increasing its stake in the Cypriot bank to 7.08%. Piraeus Bank, which stated via representatives that its intention is to increase its stake in BOC to 10%, bought 235,498 BOC shares in the CSE and 508,615 in the ASE.
