In a letter sent to the Association of Cyprus Commercial Banks recently, Cyprus Union of Bank Employees (ETYK) demanded the representation of its members in the Boards of Directors of the commercial banks.
“Our target is to secure transparency in the Boards of Directors of the Cypriot banks and to give the opportunity to the employees to express their views on significant matters”, ETYK Chairman, Loizos Hadjicostis told StockWatch.
According to Mr. Hadjicostis, Bank of Cyprus received a separate letter on August 8. Similar letters will be SENT to other Cypriots banks as well.
