The six-hour meeting of the Bank of Cyprus Board of Directors, which had talks on the new data that emerged after the Greek Council of State’s decision to annul the legislative arrangements for the pension funds of the Greek banks, has been completed. Sources reveal that although “no final decision has been taken” yet, the Management points to the withdrawal of its interest in Emporiki Bank. The Bank will not issue an announcement today, given the reactions in Greece and Cyprus after the latest announcement of the Group. Same sources reveal that the meeting scheduled for Thursday will be postponed. The relevant announcement will be released later in the afternoon.
