Orphanides appoints C. Ioannou as General Manager

Pursuant to the CSE and SEC Regulations and in order to fully inform the shareholders and the investing public in general, Orphanides Public Company Limited announces that:
It has proceeded with the appointment of Mr. Constantinos Ioannou as General Manager, with effect from May 24, 2012. Mr. Ioannou is a graduate of London School of Economics and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and has a long experience in retail trade and business administration. In the past, he held managerial positions in public and other companies. He was a Managing Director in Cosmos Trading Limited and KEO Plc and Deputy General Manager of Cyprus Trading Corporation Plc.
Mr. Ioannou will cooperate with Mr. Christos Orphanides, Executive Chairman of the Group, in order to boost the Company’s activities. Within the framework of his duties, he will coordinate all departments for a more effective functioning.
