Orphanides: Opening of bids for second round

The bids for the second round of interest in the acquisition of assets of Orphanides Public Company Ltd were opened on July 17, 2013 at the law office of Georgios Yiangou. The bids were opened in the presence of the Administrators/Receivers of the company, its legal advisers, representatives of the insured creditors and representatives of the uninsured creditors.
The interest was certainly larger than that of the first round. The bids will be evaluated by the Administrators/Receivers, who will contact with the interested parties in due time.
Allegations that the tenders have already been awarded to specific interested parties, as reports in the daily press say, are ungrounded and untrue.
The Company will release an announcement when necessary.
