Liberty Life: Ex-dividend and ex-Bonus 23 May 2001

Liberty Life Insurance Ltd. announced that during its AGM of the 18 May 2001, the financial statements of the company for the year 2000 were approved and final dividends of 10% to shareholders registered as at 1 June 2001. Messrs Constantinou Kittis, Lambros A. Christofi, Christos Patsalides, Panos Ioannou and Christos Christodoulou were reelected to the Board and their remuneration agreed. Also the auditors were reappointed and their remuneration set.
As a results of the above, shares will be trading ex-dividend from the 23 May 2001.
As at the same date, an EGM took place and a special resolution was approved whereby bonus shares to be issued to shareholders who are registered as at 1 June 2001 and have not sold their shares until the 31 October 2001, to the ratio of 1:10. Also a special resolution was approved whereby the Associates Share Option Scheme was extended to the 30 September 2001 and shares will be trading ex-bonus as of 23 May 2001.
