Christis to promote Vitalite products

Christis Dairies Ltd. announced that it intends to undertake the exclusive agency for the Cyprus market of the world famous Vitalite products, produced by the industry St. Ivel, member of the Uniq (formerly Unigate Group) of the United Kingdom. The cooperation will commence as of Monday 24 September 2001 and concerns the following products:
Vitalite Standard, Vitalite Light, Vitalite Buttery, Vitalite Unsalted, Utterly Butterly, Gold, Caparalli and Luxury.
By the undertaking of the agency of Vitalite products for exclusive import and distribution in the Cyprus market, Christis Dairies Ltd. will utilise in the best possible way its infrastructure for refrigerated storage and its well equipped distribution fleet for refrigerated products which the company owns.
By the addition of this activity, which is within Christis Dairies Ltd.'s strategic aims, the company will enhance its position in the market, increase its turnover by around CYP 1 mln per annum and, due to the economic scale, improve its profitability.
Christis Dairies Ltd., apparently the largest and most progressive in its sector in Cyprus, with long experience and performance, has repeatedly been granted awards by the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Tourism for its dairy product exports. It is also the first company to secure the ISO 9002 in the food sector and has secured approval for exports of its products to the European Union.
