Profits for Christis for 2001

During the board meeting of Christis Dairies Ltd. of the 26 March 2002, the preliminary results of the company were examined and approved for the year 2001.
Turnover for the year reached CYP 20,7 million compared to CYP 19,0 million the previous year, an increase of around 8,7%. Pre-tax profits reached CYP 510.000 compared to CYP 1.266.000 the previous year, with after-tax profits of CYP 353.000 compared to CYP 1.004.000 in 2000. Basic earnings per share were 0,75 cents.
The board anticipates increased profits for 2002 and already turnover for the current year is showing an increase of 25% compared to the respective period last year.
