Reduced profits-dividends for Telia for 2001

During the board meeting of Telia Aqua Marine Ltd. of the 28 March 2002, the preliminary results of the company were approved for the year ended 31 December 2001. Based on the results the board decided to propose dividend payments of 2 cents per share to shareholders registered as at 28 June 2002. Therefore, the last day of trading of shares cum-dividend will be the 17 June 2002. The AGM of the company has been set as the 12 June 2002 at the Hilton Hotel at 4.00 p.m.
Income of the company for the year 2001 was CYP 3.042.051, gross profit CYP 1.334.684 and operational profits CYP 158.859. Pre-tax profits were CYP 291.685 and after tax CYP 224.424 compared to CYP 690.548 the previous year. Fully distributed earnings per share were 1,3 cents.
