Telia: Reasons for the decline of FY 2002 results

Following the announcement dated 11/02/2003 with regard to the lower results for the year ended December 31, 2001 the Company would like to report the reasons for the decline:
1. Reduced interest rates in our deposits
2. Write-off of the renovation costs for several fish markets that proved problematic and had their activities suspended
3. Loss from the sale of a subsidiary company of fish selling.
