Euroinvestment: Six-month results 2003 Aug 28 – Profit warning

We wish to inform you that the Board of Directors of Euroinvestment & Finance Ltd will meet on Thursday August 28, 2003 to examine the results of the first half of 2003.
Further to the profit warning regarding the results for the year 2002 on April 10, 2003, we wish to confirm that the results of the first half of 2003 will show negative divergence compared to the corresponding results of 2002. This is attributable to the increase in suspension of recognition of interest and to the increased provisions. To the level prior to suspensions and provisions the results are expected to show improvement mainly due to the positive divergence of the results from investments and to the expenses.
