Christis approved final results 2006 – AGM on 4/6

At the meeting held on April 12, 2007, the Board of Directors of Christis Dairies Public Ltd examined the final audited results for 2006 and decided the following:
a. Financial results
The final results are not different from the indicative results announced on February 15, 2007.
The profit from operations in 2006 stood at £761,165 (€1,316,434) compared to £438.976 (€759,209) in 2005.
The profit from ongoing activities before taxation stood at £390,398 (€675,193) compared to £118,301 (€204,602) in 2005, recording an increase of £272,097 (€470,591).
The profit for the year amounted to £323,337 (€559,211) against £108,343 (€187,380) in 2005.
The Board of Directors approved unanimously the final results for 2006, which will be posted to the shareholders before the end of April 2007.
b. Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting will take place on June 4, 2007 at 6.00 pm at the Hilton Park Hotel in Nicosia.
