Muskita: Final results 2006 – AGM on 19/9 – Proposed final div of 3 cents
We wish to inform you that at the meeting held on April 25, 2007 at 11.30 am, the Board of Directors of Muskita Aluminium Industries Plc decided the following:
1. Approved the final audited consolidated results for the year ended December 31, 2006. The results are attached. The final results are not different from the indicative results that have already been announced.
Copies will be available at the Company’s registered office, Limassol Industrial Area, Limassol and the Company’s website, www.muskita.com.cy.
The final form of the Annual Report together with the invitation for the Annual General Meeting will be posted to the shareholders. The date of dispatch will be announced at a later stage.
2. The Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 6.30 pm at the Company’s office, Limassol Industrial Area.
3. Decided to propose to the AGM the payment of a final dividend of 3 cents per share (5.16 cents per share based on the exchange rate of £1 = €1.7183), that is, 30% on the nominal value of 10 cents, which stands at £2,475,000 for 2006.
In 2007, the Company has already submitted a dividend of £1,650,000 from the profits of 2006, which corresponds to 2 cents per share or 20% on the nominal value of the share of 10 cents. The total dividend that will be paid in 2007 from the profits of 2006 stands at £4,125,000, that is, 5 cents per share or 50% on the nominal value of the share.
The date of payment and the record date will be decided at a later meeting of the Board of Directors.
Taking into account the Company’s course in 2007 and its prospects, the Board of Directors believes that the financial results for 2007 will be as satisfactory as those in 2006.
