Acquisition of 51% of Egnatia (Cyprus) by subsidiaries of Marfin completed

Further to its announcement dated 19/6/2007, Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announced that the acquisition of the remaining 51% of the share capital of “Egnatia Financial Services (Cyprus) Ltd by its subsidiaries (associated) “Egnatia Bank SA” and “Egnatia Finance Brokerage SA” has been completed. As a result, the Company holds the total shares and voting rights of “Egnatia Financial Services (Cyprus) Ltd.
