Orphanides: Six-month results 2007 - CGC Reorganization

Pursuant to the CSE and SEC Regulations and in order to fully inform the shareholders and the investing public in general, the Board of Directors of Orphanides Public Company Limited announces that:
1. Six-month results
At the meeting held on August 28, 2007 at 16.00 at the Company’s Head Office, the Board of Directors examined and approved the six-month results for the period ended June 30, 2007. The results, which have been prepared pursuant to the International Accounting Standard 34, are attached. The results are presented in Cyprus pounds. The conversion from Cyprus pounds to euros has been based on the exchange rate as at June 30, 2007 €1 = £0.5837.
Copies will be available free of charge at the Company’s office, 20-22 Yiannou Kranidioti Avenue, Larnaca.
The results will be published in newspapers Phileleftheros on September 2, 2007 and Financial Mirror on September 5, 2007.
2. Restructuring of the Committees of the Board of Directors, pursuant to the Corporate Governance Code/Appointment of Higher Independent Board member
The Board of Directors proceeded with the reorganization of the Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committee of the Corporate Governance Code:
Audit Committee: Marios Antoniades (Chairman), Giorgos Hadjimichael, Christos Fylaktou, Polys Kourousides
Nominations Committee: Simos Kyriakides (Chairman), Christos Orphanides, Giorgos Hadjimichaelm Ntinos Lefkaritis
Remunerations Committee: Michalis Petsas (Chairman), Marios Antoniades, Polys Kourousides
Pursuant to the CGC provisions, the Board of Directors appointed Mr. Christos Fylaktou as Higher Independent Board member.
