Marfin: Acquisition of 99.2% of Marine Transport Bank and 3 associated companies completed

Further to the announcement dated 19.3.2007, Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd announces that following the safeguard of the necessary approvals by the competent authorities of Cyprus and Ukraine, the acquisition of 99.2% of the share capital of the Ukrainian “Marine Transport Bank” and its three associated finance lease companies has been completed on 18.9.2007.
